Thank you for your interest in having your group volunteer at NACC! We welcome groups (by appointment) of up to 15 volunteers at a time to assist around the shelter!
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Helping with scrubbing and rinsing dog kennels.
- Helping feed and clean the cats/small animals.
- Washing dirty dishes, laundry, crates, etc.
- Sorting and sanitizing donations.
- Grounds maintenance (picking up litter/debris from yards and parking lots)
- Anything else that is needed.
This program does not include dog walking/socialization.
We require all members of our volunteer groups to be 18 years of age or older. All group members will sign a Volunteer waiver prior to arrival and are required to wear closed toe shoes (no crocs) and clothes they do not mind getting dirty.
Group volunteering must be scheduled in advance, and dates are pre-approved by the Volunteer and Outreach Coordinator. At this time, we can only accommodate groups on Wednesdays from 8am-12pm. If you are interested in setting up a day for your group, please email us at [email protected]
