On Monday, February 26, 2024, at approximately 4:19 a.m., Austin Police Department (APD) officers along with Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services, and the Austin Fire Department responded to a crash between a vehicle and a pedestrian on Manor Road, just north of Rogge Lane. Preliminary investigation revealed that the driver of a newer model, four-door, white pickup truck hit a pedestrian and then left the scene without rendering aid. The pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries and is still hospitalized in critical condition. The suspect vehicle is described as:
- Pickup truck
- White in color
- Four-door
- Newer model
